Crafted from durable wood, this cover will outlast a typical plastic chime cover and will not yellow over time. Additionally, it can be painted in a different color to suit your preferences.

The unique design of the CHIMECOVER3 is created using laser-cutting technology, resulting in a clean and smooth finish. Included hardware allows for secure installation of the cover over the chime. This cover is designed to fit most chimes, including those from Newhouse Hardware, Heath Zenith, and Nutone Brands (please measure your chime before purchasing to ensure a proper fit).

Newhouse Hardware's CHIMBASE2 door chime is the chime mechanism itself, with the cover sold separately (search CHM3DCOVER for a compatible cover or CHM3D for the chime base and cover). This replacement chime is intended for hardwired installation and can be used with one or two doors. It features two distinctive chimes: a 2-note melody for the front door and a 1-note melody for the back door, allowing you to easily identify the door being accessed.

The CHIMBASE2 is powered by a 16-volt AC transformer, which is sold separately (search Newhouse Hardware model# 16TR, 3TRAN, or 30TR). This chime base is compatible with Newhouse Hardware SKU CHM3D and most other Nutone models, with dimensions of 6.75 L x 4.75 W x 1.75 inches deep.
