Exterior can be locked by keys, while the interior can be locked by a thumb turn. The lever fits both left and right-handed doors and is Garde 2, 26D Chrome, Real Commercial, Heavy Duty, UL3 hour fire-rated, ADA compliant, and Waterproof. The lock weighs approximately 4.5LB per pack, making it heavier than most small locks on the market.

The Roseset Plate is enlarged and thickened, measuring 86mm (3.38") in diameter. The latch is made of SUS 304 stainless steel and is fire-rated. For commercial doors, the lock is screwed on, while for residential doors, the screw is removed.

The door lever offers four different functions:

1. Keyed Entry (Exterior locked by keys, Interior locked by thumb turn)
2. Privacy (Exterior locked by coin, Interior locked by thumb turn)
3. Passage (Both sides always unlocked)
4. Storeroom (Exterior locked by keys, Interior always unlocked)

The NEWBANG door levers are designed to be heavy-duty, friendly to children and the elderly, and suitable for commercial use in high-traffic facilities such as schools, hospitals, libraries, hotels, airports, government buildings, retail stores, and multi-family buildings. The products are UL listed, fire-rated up to 3 hours, and non-handed, fitting both left and right-handed doors with a 70mm backset (1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch).
