The electric door bell button is designed to operate a standard door chime located within a home. The chime is not included (available at most home improvement stores) and must be hardwired into the wall. It is compatible with existing two-wire electrical systems.

A recess of 3/4 X 3/4 inches, as shown in the image, is required for all bell buttons. The installation process includes high-quality screws (1 extra) for fixing on wooden surfaces. Mark and drill pilot holes with a drill bit appropriate for the mounting hardware, apply a drop of oil on the screw tip, insert and tighten the screw. Do not over-torque the screw, as it may break. For metal surfaces, other suitable screws must be used.
